Eclectic Latin Music
NOSOTROSOUND (Our Sound) was created in Mexico in the late 70's as an ensemble to research and performance of traditional folk music from Latin-America. Since the group's inception, the members of NOSOTROSOUND have participated in numerous music festivals and seminars, expanding their musical knowledge and exchanging experiences with musicians from several countries. Nowadays this ensemble is based in Tempe, Arizona USA and mainly performs in the United States and North of Mexico.
NOSOTROSOUND play a vast repertoire of rhythms, ranging from the mournful to the festive, performing tunes from Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Mexico, etc. using typical instruments. To listen to NOSOTROSOUND is to immerse yourself in Latin-American cultures to surround yourself in an atmosphere of natural sounds created by simple but ingenious musical instruments

NOSOTROSOUNDes un grupo que se dedica a la difusión de la música folklórica latinoamericana interpretando rítmos desde los más nostálgicos hasta los más alegres y festivos utilizando para ello instrumentos típicos de latinoamerica para tocar la música tradicional de paises como Ecuador, Perú, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, México. El grupo incluye también en su repertorio, música popular de los paises antes mencionados.
El grupo NOSOTROSOUND se encuentra en la ciudad de Phoenix en el estado de Arizona en los Estados Unidos y desde allí hace presentaciones en los estados del sur-oeste de ése país. La filosofía de éste grupo es difundir la hermosa música folklórica y tradicional de los países Latinoamericanos haciendo presentaciones en escuelas, festivales, bibliotecas, etc. y son parte del catálogo de artistas de la Comisión de Artes de Arizona.
NOSOTROSOUND a querido con su nombre fusionar las dos culturas, a todos NOSOTROS los que hablamos el mísmo idioma, los que compartimos las mísmas raíces historicas, los que tenemos costumbres similares, unificarlos para idendificarlos con un mísmo SONIDO.
